Day 17, 11/24/2025.

We picture wrapped right before the holiday madness.Here's a pic of the core 4 g&e team I was lucky enough to have at my side, but not everyone that we had on was fortunate to get a group photo.

@k1ng_visual and @kylenoone1, thanks for always being ready for anything and for always being more than a few steps ahead, especially when things went off the rails. Your insights and abilities really are what got us through every day.

@jbro6849, @pablorobertoarias, @danny__rinaldi, @said_and_dunn and especially @alex_orf_ , thank you for hopping on for the few days we had you, some at shorter notice than others. But you all hopped onto some of the most crucial and important days of the shoot, absolutely nailing it each time.

And last but not least:
@oldsoulproductions_llc, my Key Grip and the spine of the g&e department. I really couldn't have done this without you. All the extra legwork you put in, between phone calls or meetings on off days, just to make sure we were prepared, that you were keeping me honest, and offering all the extra insight to pull off the lighting plans I made, only served to push me to do even better. That you also saw what I was seeing in the moment and knew what needed to be done right then and there only made these 4 weeks all the more effortless.

@csl_cinematography. Our third feature in the can, and probably our best and most polished. Thanks for trusting me with your ideas and allowing me a certain degree of autonomy that most other DPs wouldn't be bothered to provide. And even when we bicker like an elderly married couple, it's only the work that benefits. I wouldn't have taken this on if you weren't behind the camera. My trust only goes so far, and you have it completely when we work together.

There was not one day on this project that felt like work. It was the most fun I've had on a gig in a long time and you all were responsible for it.

Should we all be so lucky.

Day 16 report. Big day. Another long, very important dolly shot. Cop cars. Cop car gags. Lots of unwanted stray light throwing shadows all over the place.

Day 15. Winding down with a massive dolly shot through our banquet hall set. Lighting was velvety smooth, especially once we hazed it up. Looked absolutely awesome!

Day 14 Report: Key Grip @jlovemarca and I spent a chunk of the day pre-lighting our banquet hall set for Saturday while the rest of the team stayed on set, outdoors unfortunately, helping camera team work their stuff.

We used the @godox_global Knowled f400r and Godox f200sr with the inflatable diffusions on the north and south points, along with two 8ft batton lights with 1k watts worth of incandescent bulbs diffused and skirted on the east and west points.

Consider this the "before" photo. I cannot wait to shoot this stuff on Saturday! It's gonna be awesome.

Day 13 report. One of the best things about this job has been having my own monitor. @erileypatterson was generous enough to lend me one of hers and a teredek, and @lind010 was patient enough to let me set it up on his system. By not having to crowd around the big monitor or use apps that freeze up, my workflow have been so much smoother.

Day 12 Report. Finally felt like we were back in the groove with a day as consistently great as the stuff we were doing in week 1. Helluva day with a great team! Aaaand I got to hang out with my girlfriend on set (thanks for being able to hop on to AC so last minute...love you!)

Also, big thanks to @ri_manghani and her art team once again for coming in clutch with the big curtains. On top of all the other shit that gets thrown at you, you always deliver the goods!
