Synopsis:
In the top four divisions of England’s highest football leagues, there are currently no players who openly identify as gay. The short film seeks to address this absence through a compelling blend of visual art and poetry, weaving together diverse narratives that explore the perceptions surrounding the lives of queer footballers and enthusiasts. The film invites viewers to contemplate and form their own opinions, with the ultimate goal of fostering understanding and acceptance.

The AXS-R5 memory recorder provided by @provision_hire was invaluable for the ability to exclusively shoot with natural light both in day and night scenes throughout. Short Film: Vole (2023)
We paired vintage Arriflex 16mm lenses with the Tiffen 1/2 promist shooting on the Sony F55 to create this unique look. The AXS-R5 memory recorder provided by @provision_hire was invaluable for the ability to exclusively shoot with natural light both in day and night scenes throughout.
