Good luck to the whole @thisisendoglobal team at the @bafta film awards tonight!!! Such a powerful and important piece of work by @georgiewileman and @itsmatthoughton . We were incredibly lucky to have been asked to write the score for this beautiful film. Thank you @harriette_wright and @laurenfrankfort for having us and fantastic to work alongside our old friend @tomjenkinssound on the sonics of the film.

When you’re asked to film yourselves opening your vinyl…
Of Becoming is out today and in all seriousness this record means a lot to us, it was a real labour of love in the making and features some songs that started life when we were 17. Some we started when we still lived in London (on Vanbrugh hill where we coined our name) It felt very cathartic making it and watching tiny little seeds of songs come to life with the beautiful contributions of so many talented musicians.

If you listen to the album, let us know your favourites! They all mean something to us personally but we love hearing about the places they might take you too ❤️ love, Vanbur x

Lovely to have the OST for ‘The Jetty’ out today on all streaming platforms via @silvascreenrecords.

It was blast writing the score for this one. It aired on @bbcone earlier this summer but still available on @bbciplayer so go and have a watch! Big shout out to old pal and supervising sound editor @tomjenkinssound for his work on the series as well.

... rhythms not quite hitting perfectly, hearing the wood of the violins and the pedals of the piano, but working together in delicate symbiosis. Such is the relationship between Dex & Em.
