Last night, “Esta Es Tu Cuba” brought home the Bronze award in the Narrative category at @theacademy Student Academy Awards.
It was a celebration to all the amazing hard work the entire cast and crew did.
Directly, I’d like to thank again The Director @brian.robauand Producer @johnsayage for bringing me on to this life changing project. All those sleepless nights at that Air BnB, working away at the scrip, cast, logistics, etc was no small feat. The shooting went by in a flash for me, but I’ll cherish the memories we had around it, the 3 of us pushing away at this film, for a long time to come. It was an honor to work along side both of you and I really hope we have the opportunity to do it again —and soon!

A 2016 Student Kodak Cinematography Award nominee for the short ‘Look at Me’, and the thesis film ‘Esta es tu Cuba’ which won multiple awards - Including a Student Academy Award and Emmy, as well as the film being nominated for a student BAFTA.
Trevor has shot many shorts, music videos, commercials, and miniseries. He has also shot multiple feature films, such as ‘Night, Mother, which won a 2022 Webby Award and was co-Director of Photography for thefeature film ‘City of Dreams’, which was distributed by Roadside Attractions for a nationwide theatrical release.
