We're not restricting our celebration of sub heavy hip hop to the UK. A dancefloor destroying banger is a dancefloor destroying banger wherever it's from. In terms of seminal US tunes that went hard and still slap now... This one has to be in the conversation. @deadprez reportedly made 'Hip Hop' initially as a parody/joke in response to their label demanding a hit single. In the process they inadvertently made one of the most enduring credible bangers in HIp Hop history that continues to hype crowds on soundsystems to this day.
