(That’s soccer to anyone in North America.) “Panenka” is when, during a penalty kick, the shooter floats the ball into the centre of the goal, deceiving any goalkeeper that has committed to a dive into the left or right corner of the net. The technique was introduced by Czech football player Antonín Panenka in 1976. We made a video for it🇨🇿

🥁 “Panenka” is also a concise earworm based around a tangle of horn samples and repeating drum patterns.

🎛️ “Rabona” one of the most direct and up-tempo tracks on the album.

It’s all done! With @florahibberd we just finished up mixing with @etiennecaylou and mastering with @chabmastering and I couldn’t imagine it being any more exciting. It’s all sounding GREAT and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.
