From prop to player! 🎬🤖🏃🏼‍♂️

When @cineworkstv rolled two AGITOs onto The Running Man (2025) set, they were meant to be nothing more than futuristic props – until someone hit the power button. ⚡

Originally meant to sit quietly as ‘set dressing’, they soon became part of the crew – sending live camera feeds of the backstage action to the monitors behind the stage, turning the fake broadcast into a real one.

Running in MagTrax mode, they weaved through pure chaos. Extras, cranes, cables, even full-on riot scenes, all without a single rail or reset.

By the end of the shoot, they weren’t just background pieces… they were part of the choreography – even making the final shot of the movie! 👀

We started with an electric Polaris buggy and transformed the rear section to carry an @egripment_camera_support StarCam, capable of rising up to 9 meters. Cineworks were clear that the cabin needed to function as a proper workstation for the cameraman, so @deb_broadcast_engineering_ designed and built a bespoke interior, complete with a control desk and monitors mounted from a horizontal scaffold bar.

@kirstencustombags created an incredible custom hide/tent to house the batteries and electronics, with a clever access opening for the controls. As always, she delivered something unique and absolutely nailed it.

On the back frame, we focused on making it as practical and user-friendly as possible for location work, with multiple options for mounting clamps wherever needed

Both the Agito and F32 had Sony Venice 2’s with Fujinon 14-35mm T2.9 and Zeiss 15-30mm T2.9 respectively. They were set up for live broadcast by @instavivid along with 16 other cameras.
