Yessss!!! So happy to share these two absolutely incredible actors with you!!! April and Timothy are just dynamite!! I have worked with them both for a long time and I just adore them. Always making strong choices, feeling completely alive the whole audition, and bringing life to the spot even when there are not a ton of lines. That last one is so hard to do. This didn’t have dialogue - I let them improvise a little - make it their own. Look how they both POP!!! You are sucked in immediately. Watch it with sound and without - you’ll really see how they are so alive, present, and captivating. I love their auditions and I love the final spot!!! It’s so fun!!! Ahhhh!!! The news is out!! We had the honor of casting the lead role of Zoey in Netflix’s Yeti, directed by my gorgeous husband, Michael. We cast the amazing Iona Bell as Zoey!!! She’ll be playing Chris Pine’s daughter. What an incredible cast. Iona, you are an absolute gem — a true star. Unbelievably talented, special, and such a lovely human. I can’t wait to see what you do with the role of Zoey. This was an 8-week casting journey - we watched THOUSANDS of audition tapes. We saw so many actresses for this role, and we were reminded over and over again how full this world is of fierce, extraordinary talent. Happy Veteran’s Day. We were lucky enough to cast and work with this World War 2 Veteran Arthur Frankel on this beautiful Ram commercial. Arthur is one of the most beautiful men I’ve ever met. He shared his stories with us - we cried, we laughed - he opened up his heart to us and we were truly blessed to have had this time with him. After High School like most people of that time, Art wanted to join the military to defend our country. He attempted to enlist at 17 but his parents would not permit it, so he was forced to wait a year. At 18 he joined the US Army serving in the Army Air Corp as a cartographer. He died last year at the age of 96. Thank you Arthur for serving our country. Thank you to ALL the people who have served and continued to serve our country. You are the real heroes of this world. Noor - you are GORGEOUS!!!! Inside and out!!! She nailed the fun of this right off the top - like right in the slate!!! Her kiss to camera, her flirty, fun energy - it’s all so much fun to watch. Her energy translates beautifully into the final piece. Let’s talk about Noor’s slate - it’s so important that you bring yourself into that slate as well as the character you’re going to play. I love how she is holding her make-up in that kiss frame and is sooooo fun and playful immediately. For the audition - I love how she asked a friend to read the other lines for her. Noor just called a friend and FaceTimed her from her laptop. It feels so real!! So natural!! She could just play. I just heard from Noor who said, “Dina!! Your auditions are my favorite. Literally. So low stress I can just be myself”. That is MUSIC to my ears!! This is exactly what I want for all of you!! Congrats beautiful Noor and all the fabulous actors that booked this commercial!!! Sweet sorcery - watch the gorgeous Nikki Soohoo work her magic!! Ahhh we love you Nikki! She’s been auditioning for me for years. Always knocking it out of the park!! The first 2 takes are the first audition (direction was 1st take - straight-to-copy, 2nd take improvise a tiny bit / make it your own). When she says “Outshine baby” on that 2nd take - I knew she booked it. She takes something simple / very little dialogue and LIGHTS up that screen. Nikki is charming, alive, and full of so much love and joy!! It’s oozing off of her in everything she does. The 3rd take is the callback. Clients were on zoom and she was in our studio. She takes her time, gets lost in the fake environment she’s created, and just POPS!! It’s soooo fun to see it translate to the actual spot! That gorgeous smile, that stunning red dress, and the fun she brings to the whole piece - absolutely beautiful!!! Superb Nikki!!! Crushed it!! Congrats a million times.
