Jack has used this Horizon kit on over 500 gigs going back to 2018. Unfortunately, in 2024 the finish on the kit got damaged during Hurricane Helene.
We were happy to bring it back to the factory and give it a full refurb ahead of the current @realmarcusking tour. The finish is a custom blue sky sparkle to coincide with their ‘Darling Blue’ release. In addition, we re-cut all the bearing edges and restored all the hardware to get this kit ready for its next 500 gigs.
Its been sounding great, and many thanks to Jack and team for pulling the video together for us.

Blue Sky sparkle finish for @jackmkb
This was a refurb of a Horizon Series Kit and Solid Shell Maple snare. Blue Sky is a new sparkle we picked out together to align with a color scheme being used on the current @realmarcusking tour. For the snare, we decided to leave the existing patina on the brass hardware to cherish the experiences the drum has been through. Check out their tour dates and go see/hear these drums in person.
