I mostly try to keep my insta as dirtbike as possible but figured today I’d give a small piece of insight on how I got to where I am today, I’d say around 13 all the way up till around 17 my mom was left with the task of working a 9-5, keeping all the bills paid, while also being a mother and taking care of me and my two little brothers, I seen real struggle and some dark days in this time period, my mom did her best to try and hide how much stress she was going through for me and my brothers but I could tell what was going on and that was tough on me, no matter how hard I tried I just couldn’t relate to any of the other kids I was around at the track, which turned into most people having an unfair opinion on me and who I was then as a person, which I didn’t let it get to me because my focus was always to win , collect the little bonus money program I had, and earn a contract that could actually help me help my mom….. That was the motivation, I knew there was no plan b, and this is what I had to do to make it happen, not only for myself but for her, I wanted her to see something was being made of all the sacrifice she was doing just to keep the lights on and the family fed…. I’ll never forget some of those AC’less Florida summer days to save a lil money, As I’m older now and understand bills and what it takes to be a grown up, I think of all the times money was tight and she spent her last dollars on me and my brothers, wish I made the money that I do now back then so that I could’ve gave it all to her, long story short the struggle was real and we didn’t ask for handouts, we got through those days together and although I did what I could, she’s the real mvp, and without her and the sacrifices she made I wouldn’t be me…
Your resilience is contagious, thank you for giving me the tools you did, the hard work will show soon…. Love you

Ps me and the legend @adamitistv did a documentary digging deep into my backstory, it’s been tough to get a landing space for the work that was shot but one day we’ll get it out and bring a good story to the moto community, definitely some more notable names that were involved but this small insight stage today is for my mama

So last post I was 100% retired, only lasted about 4 days and snapped out of it went back to work🤷‍♂️ it’s a sh*t situation and at this point my last 3 surgeries have been without crashing but hopefully now we have a grasp on what’s been going on and I can get some luck on my side, mentally I’m in a good place and I know I’m capable of wins and podiums when I’m back to 100% so that’s the focus at this point … Also not making this post to convince anyone I can, I’ll prove it when it’s time 🤙

Felt like I was finally back to form was comfy all day, was p3 in qualifying and hit a weird pocket in the rhythm that did some damage unfortunately…… not gonna lie sh*t sucks there’s no other way to put it, so much time and investment is put in to compete at this level and set back after set back has definitely tested me mentally but at the end of the day as it’s contract year for me if that was my last race day as a racer I’m absolutely proud of the accomplishments along the way and what I’ve achieved them through 🤝 big thanks to @officialtriumphracing

We are trending in the right direction, led a good amount of laps and put myself in good positions 2/3 motos, definitely rusty and not where I want to be yet but will keep logging the laps and getting to normal 🤝
