LIVE ON Xin’An River 🪴

We’ve been to a lot of places but this time we put the radio booth on a boat on Xin’An River in Jiande, Zhejiang!! We were lucky and able to capture the authentic creation 🇨🇳 has to offer 🌄

Overall it’s been wonderful, just another studio day in a different location 👍🏻

we‘re happy to be among the 17 independent radio stations from around the world participating in the Audio Archives, which marks over 15 years of @carharttwip Radio while paying tribute to the deepening cultural impact of independent radio.

byyb.radio is a street-side community radio station in Shanghai. Since 2023, we’ve broadcast from a bar doorway, a mall entrance, and every kind of corner you can imagine in a city.

we are kicking off a special program on March 13, 2–6pm, taking it all to Jiande (建德), Zhejiang (浙江), broadcasting live from the Xin‘an River with @coilsprite , @threelife213 , @knopha and @_xiaolaba , alongside the stunning scenery Jiande has to offer 🛶

Audio Archives: byyb x Carhartt WIP station Tee will also be available soon, first on sale March 7 at byyb workshop space, 274 Julu Road (巨鹿路), where a full-day program celebrates the people behind this scene and culture.
