It’s been a dream of mine to own an @audi R8 since i was a kid. I’ve had one other opportunity to whip around a few years back for a week on a reality show i was a camera op on but that pretty much just solidified my dream of having one someday.

Fast forward now, i actually have a friend who owns one. Instead of just asking him to drive his car like a psycho I’d rather give him content and give myself content as well.

So i pitched my boy @themalibumafia on a quick idea for a spec shoot for his car. He was down. I hit my boy @fidelmelara to help me execute this and the rest was history.

This quote is cliché, but it resonates deeply with me as a videographer and creator who struggles with severe overthinking and overanalyzing everything.

When I find myself in this state, I force myself to push through—unless I’m genuinely burnt out. I ask myself, “Why am I not creating what I truly want to create? What am I afraid of? Judgment? Rejection?”

Then it hits me: facing these fears head-on is exactly what I need to become fully comfortable with myself and my work.

When I’m not solving problems for clients, I enjoy creating for myself, rediscovering my love for shooting just for the sake of it. It reminds me why I fell in love with filming in the first place.

It’s much easier said than done, but consider pushing through the creative block and seeing what happens. If you don’t like it, it’s just another piece where you practiced your skills.
