Inspiration |

It's been quite a while since I last posted!

In March we said goodbye to my lovely granny; the real Danielle Bleuse, and a big inspiration to me and my business. She was originally a wedding dress designer and seamstress from Chantilly in France but loved absolutely anything creative.
So it's felt a bit strange to post under her name recently, despite all the lovely projects I've been lucky enough to print over the last few months.

Gran completely lost her sight in her last few years and I remember how she used to feel the details in things when she could no longer see them. It is just a coincidence that I fell into letterpress printing but I love that one of the big appeals of letterpress is the texture and how it makes you want to run your fingers over to feel the beautiful deep impressions of the print. It will forever remind me of her.

Print day //

After a full week of emailing it is nice to start this new week with lots and lots of printing!
These lovely envelopes are for a styled shoot where I have been given the most gorgeous brief and complete free range of the stationery design. So excited to see this one come together.
