As the school summer holidays draw to a close, we’re looking back fondly on our epic out-of-term-time campaign for Ocado x Disney from last year!
Ocado’s School of Magical Mealtimes was an earned media and influencer-led campaign, culminating in a 4-day, family-friendly, interactive event hosted at The Langham hotel over the Easter holidays.
A wave of content and coverage from influencers and journalists alike generated buzz & excitement to drive awareness of Ocado’s Disney meal bundles amongst a targeted family audience.
We loved helping inspire kids and adults to come together in the kitchen (with a little bit of Disney magic) to make mealtimes more memorable!

We loved ❤️ how the curated exhibition combined film sets and props with multi-sensory displays and immersive lighting and sound installations to transport us back to 1955…
From the exterior facade - intriguing passers-by on The Strand - to the impeccably designed gift shop and fully operational 1950’s diner at the exit - the expertly produced exhibition made brilliant use of the venue’s quirks and spaces throughout the experience and we could have stayed all day (…if we didn’t have our own immersive events to get on and produce!) 🤩

We’re not quite sure how much more love this campaign can take… but we’re more than willing to find out! We have just found out that the FML Store, which we created with our partner @notonthehighstreet has been nominated for two UK Agency Awards - Best Integrated Campaign & Best Event.
It was great to work with @samthompsonuk on this project as well as our pals over at @PrettyGreen and @whattheysaidagency , It really shows what you can achieve when everyone pulls in the same direction. Now, we just need to do our very best Britain’s Got talent impression - smile, face the judges and yell “Pick me!”
