In 2014, Nigeria enacted the Same-Sex Marriage
Prohibition Act, a law that criminalises same-sex
relationships and legitimises hate and violence.

This has led to a rise in brutality, creating a culture of fear
that tears families apart, silences voices, and forces
countless individuals to hide their true selves to survive.

“Demons” is a tribute to those who fight every day for the
right to love and exist, even when the world tells them they
shouldn’t.

This film is more than just a cinematic work; it is a call for
change and action.

It serves as a reminder that no one should have to conceal
their identity or struggle for the right to love.
