I guess it took getting BAFTA longlisted to finally post about this film.
Almost 10 years ago I lost a close family member. He left me in a confusing mess of emotion that I struggle to write about. This film succeeds where my words fail.

Good Mythical Morning just did its 3000th episode 🤯 I got to work one of them with @apartmentdfilms It was a blast shifting the context of the audio into a rocket-powered weinerdog joyride.

No digital VFX,just good ol’ camera trickery.

It took three days to set up and shoot this 2 second shot.

As the camera takes a long exposure, we move the entire set around the wheel. Paper twists behind the wheel, creating the dust flying from the wheel. This technique, often called “Go-Motion,” allows for a natural blurring of movement.

Last August, our film star David finally ventured out into the wider world! His first stop was @edfilmfest, where he attended our world premiere and had the best time. Literally, he hasn’t stopped talking about the ceilidh, Irn-Bru, Edinburgh Castle, and all the brilliant films he’s seen and reviewed on his Letterboxd. What an amazing start to his journey!
