Many thanks to each a very one who came to support this years iteration of counterflows festival. The choir is so grateful to have been asked again to be involved in the festival for a second time. This year it was Was a total joy and honour to meet and work with Lin ChiWei @linchiweiphotostock.Was a completely new kind of way for working for Uzganc and really shook things up!But in general To be temporarily suspended in some hyper possibility space surrounded by folks who also seek the company of gates and fissures in the known is a complete honour and a rare thing. A massive shout out to the choir and every act that we were blessed to witness, cognise dream with and move to!!! Massive thank u to everyone on the team and Alasdair and Fielding. Xxxxx

🎨 The opening of a nine day exhibition showing works of six artists hailing from Stroud Cotswolds Bristol Glasgow and Northern Ireland/London

over the past few months I have been going into glasgow centre and drawing people using oil stick in places of work, on benches resting, in conversation, on devices, day drinking, handing out flyers, dancing, watching street performers, preaching , busking, window shopping, lost in thought etc.. i feel like this practice helps me get grounded and dispel and dissolve that inner narrative that wants to turn things against each other, to divide up and make claims, a kind of need to name/divide things stops and one is working with tone line light absence an intuitive carving out of aspects ofall that appears .#drawing #drawingshowglasgow #glasgow #madefromgrapesgla #oilstick

The ball is a freehand invocation to various elemental forces.
Among these Pan appears, who is thegod of wild meadows, fields and pitches
reminding us of our placement within the multi scaled weaving of all that is.
Through our play The paint will smear and fleck, get lodged in fallen branches and stick behind finger nails, will flee like pollen in the wind, will be trodden down buried into soil
Our joyous play will finally scatter theimages onto all
And all be touched by the joyous spirited game.

This selection of songs is maybe sweeter and dare i say it more listenable some even have a romantically infused edge, but your still like is this about a person or is it still just about god! All is anyway a love song to god with god for god and from god… im happy with the way Kashual p arranged the songs to form a story i hadn’tknown was already there. Hope u all like it, its always gonna be pretty close to me and my whatever ways of communicating stuff beyond language through sound etc, there is lots of the sounds of making the sounds, air flow features heavily, storms through actual cracksmy window became horns/pipes a strange conversation. Air flow is where ancestral knowledge swarms and streams let it in, Every aspect of the making is there, iv tried to stop doing black magic after i left school, be in the open instead,aspects hang almost coherently , sometimes meeting at points while travelling in different directions, there is an ode to what elbow used to be like when i liked them in 2004. Drills become Tibetan ceremonial horns, a distorted lament on the harpsichord trails off warning of the terrible resurrection of the neo feudal overlords. i do see myslef in daniel a tiny bit, but im like a vanilla johnston, as in am not about to stand in a river and say it flows it all flows however much i would love to live in a world in which spontaneous and uproarious gestures of praise and gratitude where commonplace and non denominational just vibz

Was exceptionally moved to be able to present some new works for voices with the Uzganc Choir. It has been a joy and delight to have weekly singing sessions with the choir. The choir is made up out of a whole variety of folks in an ever shifting composition from different musical non musical backgrounds alike, its about tuning, being, listening and of course singing in company which feels like it holds powerful properties in it’s simplicity
