We have 3 varieties to share:

Glass Gem Corn- flint type. For flour, popcorn, decor.🌽

Nor'easter Pole Bean- climbing Romano-style bean for fresh and dry eating🫘

Cornell Delicata Squash- winter squash for eating earlier in the cold months.🍈

We recommend planting the corn NOW
and in 2 weeks, when it pops up,
surround each corn plant with 4 bean seeds.
Also plant 2 squash plants at this time, 1-2' away from your corn/beans as your space allows.

We share these seeds after diving into the 3 Sisters origin story and planting techniques. To do that, we spent the last of the winter and early spring listening to @robinwallkimmerer recording of her 3 Sisters chapter in Braiding Sweetgrass. We drew as we listened and are ready to grow.

I'm becoming increasingly difficult to physically locate as Spring rears its chaotic head. I'm a person who loves trees and solitude and clean flowing water. I am also part Irish and have little connection to my heritage. I'm super grateful to both be in a known place today and be in community with folks who create access to the fiber of culture- music, gathering spaces, food.
