After 2.5 years of planning, 1 pandemic, 1 elopement, 1 intense election and lots of blood, sweat and tears, Daniel and I were finally able to have the wedding day of our dreams on 9/4/21 (a.k.a. Beyonce's 40th birthday)! Safety and intentionality has always been our priority, so having everyone be fully vaccinated against Covid was essential. The day was truly magical, and it was so amazing seeing everything come together in the most beautiful ways! It was a long time coming, but worth the wait. I truly believe that everything happens right on time. Our community of dear friends, family and vendors showed up for us and helped to make our day truly special by bringing all the love, light, positivity and fun energy that we really needed. We are overwhelmed with gratitude. It brought us so much joy seeing everyone having fun and truly celebrating, especially with everything we have all been through. We absolutely had the time of our lives. There's so much more to say, but for now, we look forward to reminiscing and reliving the magic for a long time to come. #ForeverwIthaBang #Wedding #WeddingDay #WeddingInspiration #Bride #Groom #Marriage #WeddingPhotography #InstaWedding #WeddingParty #WeddingDress #IDo #WeDidIt

We did it! 3 months ago, when all of me and @d_ithy's wedding plans were going down the drain due to the pandemic, I was not in a head and heart space to even consider an elopement. You couldn't tell me nothing! I am not an elopement person. I plan, plan, plan, and there are very few things that I do small. (Ask my family). But as time went on, and our world changed dramatically day-by-day (and at times, hour-by-hour), the living in limbo became hell. We wanted — NEEDED — some kind of beginning. So about two weeks ago, we decided that we were going to lean on our faith and just do the damn thing. We weren't sure what it was going to look like or feel like, but we felt called to do this. We brought on board our amazing wedding planning team, @ai_international_events, who we've been working with for about a year now, to help us bring this to life, and they knocked it out of the park. I was worried that there would be tech issues with our small Zoom audience and that I would not feel like it was special, but everything turned out better than I could have ever expected. There were also moments that we could have never expected that were true defining moments of the day. For example, our location just happened to be off of Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, and when we were taking photos with @tnkphotodotcom out on the street, there was an overwhelming amount of people walking, driving and riding by who saw us and honked their horns in celebration, screamed out congratulations out of their window, wished us well and gave us so much love. It was so unexpected, surreal and poignant, and I was surprised at how emotional it made me. It's a weird time to get married, but nevertheless, we persisted. I'm grateful that our elopement day was something that was uniquely special. It didn't replace the original wedding that could have been, and it won't replace the big wedding that will be once it's safe to have it. It was something special on its own, and if everything had gone according to plan, we would not have been able to receive this. June 7, 2020 will always mark our beginning.

I turned 40 three days ago, and I couldn't be more excited for the new era. ✨ Celebrating my birthday with Gaga last Thursday night was perfection, and the beginning of my birthday month festivities over the last few days have been so fun. Cheers to the next decade of life! 💜💁🏾♀️🧁 #ThisIs40 #219 #PiQuarius #LadyGaga

5 years married today. What. A. Ride. Getting eloped and starting our marriage during a global pandemic and social uprising was not what we planned, but we made this special moment our very own in the most memorable ways. In 3 weeks, nonetheless! Thanks for being my ride or die, @d_ithy . I love you, and here's to so, so much more together! The best is yet to come. ❤️❤️❤️
Fun fact: I just learned today that we got married on Prince's birthday, 6/7, so that's pretty cool! (Our wedding celebration anny on 9/4 is also on Beyonce's birthday). None of this was intentional. 😂

Another day, another concert! I still haven't physically recovered from my incredible double Beyonce experience 2 weeks ago, but here I am cosplaying as a 25-yo and turning up on a Wednesday. Ya girl was tiredt, but I went ahead and Kendrick shuffled on over to SoFi 2 nights ago for the LA opening show of the Grand National tour! 💃🏾🙌🏾 A time was had, and Kung Fu Kenny killed it (as expected)!! This was my first time seeing him live, but it certainly won't be my last. I was left energized, inspired, and LA proud. 🖤
Which concert will I go to next?? 👀

HOW I GOT FRONT ROW SEATS TO SEE BEYONCÉ
Storytime! Buckle up because my 8th time seeing Beyoncé was truly iconic!!
So, it all happened last Friday, May 9th. @missmusu and I were still recovering from the amazing May 7th Cowboy Carter show and dragging from a long, exhausting week. On the way to Sofi for the last LA show, we suddenly saw Parkwood’s IG story saying the concert was starting early @ 7:45pm! Less than 2 hours’ notice! 😬
Thanks to traffic, we didn’t get there until 7pm, so our plans to hit the merch booth were scrapped. We just focused on the essentials and rushed to grab water, find a bathroom, and maybe find merch inside. But at 7:47 PM, we still hadn’t used the bathroom, and the show hadn’t started yet. We figured we had a few more minutes as a grace period, so we dashed to the ladies’ room, resolved to buy merch online later, and power walked to the tunnel entrance of the floor section.
As we were walking in, the music suddenly started (‼️). Everyone started rushing to their seats, and we did the same. After 30 seconds, we reached our seats in section C1, Row 16. But… we couldn’t see that row in that section. We’d bought these seats directly from Ticketmaster at face value (no resale), so we were thoroughly confused 🤔. I flagged down a few staffers, and they confirmed it… there was no such row. They told us to go to guest services to sort it out, to which I said, "What do you mean?! The show was starting!" My heart was racing! 😰
After a mini panic inside, I quickly snapped into action and ran to guest services, (hoping Musu was still behind me 😅). 60 seconds later? They handed me new paper tickets for Section B1, Row 1... FRONT. ROW. WTF?! 😱
With no time to process this information (since Bey hadn't started singing yet), we RAN to section B1, got to our seats, and looked up… then I froze. We were RIGHT THERE. We couldn’t believe it! Total shock! Everything that had felt chaotic somehow turned into the most magical, surreal, unexpected experience ever. A wild mix of stress, timing, and divine alignment landed us right next to Queen Bey! It truly felt like a gift—like joy showing up right on time. ✨🙏🏾

Girl's night out with @beyonce -- Cowboy Carter edition! I'm still feeling all the feels from my first time experiencing this incredible show last Wednesday (night 4) with @dr.serandasylvers @mia_queenofthecookies and @missmusu. The vibes are always high when you're around the hive, and it's SO healing being in the container for joy that this woman always creates with her concert experiences. And SO MUCH FUN. The hive was buzzin' and I got the chance to reunite IRL with one of my faves, the fabulous @hirasrinivasan after so, so long! 🥰
Beyonce's mind is just on another level, and I can't even fully process it. From the visuals, the voice, the surprises, the fits, the fans, ugh everything, you are on the ride of your life from start to finish! What a spectacular show! 😍⭐✨

Aaaannnnd... I FINALLY GOT MY BIRTHDAY CAMEO!!! 🤣😭
Thank you @iamkelmitchell and @d_ithy for making my @cameo (and Millennial) dreams come true!

Thirty-fine.
If this is what pushing 40 looks like, I ain't mad at it. Being surrounded by love, laughter, and vibes was the best way for me to ring in my new year, and I am spoiled in riches of genuine relationships in my life that nurture and give me life. Thank you everyone for all the celebratory birthday texts, messages, and DMs 3 days ago. And thank you to everyone who brings joy to my life every day. Y'all know how to make a girl feel special! 🥰✨

This summer, I got to work on a really fun and impactful activation for @nikela through the amazing experiential agency, the bench, as the freelance Creative Director!
The Victory Relay, held at the historic LA Coliseum, took place on Mamba Day (Aug. 24th) and was a kickoff event to not only spark the race to LA28, but also to hold space for the celebration of women runners and LA's diverse running community. Over 320 runners showed up bright and early that Saturday morning to tap into the Mamba mentality to work as teams to try to beat Joanie Benoit's iconic, gold-winning women's marathon race time at the '84 Olympics. It was amazing to see so many different kinds of women athletes giving it their all, from racers who were postpartum, to college athletes, to the young middle schoolers giving the semi-pros a literal run for their money. Between the determination, grit, music, and vibes, an absolute time was had! We were ALL inspired by these amazing women.
This has become one of my favorite projects. So much TLC went into this. The team was perfectly crafted, and it was so fun hanging out at the LA Coliseum around the Paris Olympics. I was also excited to tap into my copywriting bag with manifesto writing, scriptwriting, and narrative storytelling 💅🏾. (Yes, some art people can write, too!). Check out the recap video below and go to the link in bio for more deets on this project.
