I love what I do & it’s always fun capturing the work that goes on behind the scenes. We couldn’t have pulled this campaign shoot off without the entire team. I told our client that she had a team full of experts. Bravo!
Me + @bookbcreative = a God ordained connection. Our creative brains fused together will always create something magical. Now the process isn’t always pretty, but the final product is always executed well. The details that went into this shoot is insane. From the custom branded playing cards, to the bundles acting as meat in a package, to the real life grill & charcoal, to the branded labels on the wine coolers… the list goes on. Deleting tomorrow, but this would’ve been my take on this year’s Met Gala theme, “Costume Art,” if I had a client attending.
I chose Lego because it already exists in the world as design and art. People build sets, display them in their homes, and treat them as creative expression. I translated that same idea into fashion; structured pieces assembled into wearable form. Costume art as construction. Oh, and peep the Legos in the hair. 🤏🏾
