Deleting tomorrow, but this would’ve been my take on this year’s Met Gala theme, “Costume Art,” if I had a client attending.
I chose Lego because it already exists in the world as design and art. People build sets, display them in their homes, and treat them as creative expression. I translated that same idea into fashion; structured pieces assembled into wearable form. Costume art as construction. Oh, and peep the Legos in the hair. 🤏🏾
