Last chance to see ‘Franz Gertsch’ at our Zurich, Bahnhofstrasse gallery.

Curated by Tobia Bezzola, the presentation offers an exemplary view of Gertsch’s rigorously precise and transcendent vision, bringing together a major painting from the artist’s Patti Smith series, as well as important large-scale and medium-format woodcuts.

Plan your visit until 16 May via the link in bio.

What a day of connection in Downtown Los Angeles 🩵

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Learning Exchange in Los Angeles, bringing together artists, educators and institutions to explore the future of learning through art. Together, we shared ideas, built relationships and focused on how artists play a part in reimagining creative opportunities for young people.

We’re especially grateful to Mark Bradford, Debbie Hillyerd (@debbiehillyerd) and Eileen Harris Norton (@eileenharrisnorton) for their insights, and to Culture for One (@cultureforone) and Art Division (@artdivisionla) for their collaboration and support, including thoughtful exhibition tours led by next-generation artists and educators.

Thank you to our partners and educators from the Hammer Museum (@hammer_museum), Heart of Los Angeles (@heartoflosangeles), Inner-City Arts (@innercityarts), Art + Practice (@artandpractice), and The Obama Presidential Center (@obamafoundation) who shared their visions for youth led projects and community initiatives.

Moments like these remind us of the power of community #HWLearn

Closing soon in Basel: ‘Niklaus Stoecklin’.

Curated in close collaboration with Martin Schwander, this exhibition features rare paintings from the 1920s through the 1970s, tracing Stoecklin’s evolution from the cool, detached precision of interwar realism to the luminous stillness of his later works.

Plan your visit through 23 May via the link in bio.

Now open at 📍 @hauserwirthsomerset: ‘Angel Otero. Agua Salada’

Angel Otero (@oteroso) makes his UK debut featuring a deeply personal body of work completed during an artist residency in Somerset.

Known for his physically immersive approach to paint as material, #AngelOtero transforms the medium itself—scraping, layering and peeling dried oil paint to create richly textured compositions that hover between abstraction and figuration.

The exhibition marks an expansion of Otero’s practice beyond the canvas, translating his fascination with process, materiality and time into sculptural installations and moving image.

📆 Plan your visit through Sunday 18 October.

Opening tonight at New York, Wooster Street: ‘Allison Katz. Outta the Bag’

Marking @allison.katz’s first solo exhibition with the gallery in New York—a title that reminds us that showing one’s work is a bit like revealing a secret. Wit and lived experience ripple through art-historical citations, self-portraiture and allusions to the precarity of an image-saturated world.

Join us tonight from 6 – 8 pm for the opening reception. Link in bio to plan your visit.

Congratulations to Christina Kimeze (@itskimeze), who has been selected for ‘British Art Show 10: A Chorus of Strangers’, curated by Ekow Eshun (@ekoweshun).

The landmark 10th edition of the British Art Show explores human connection and the figure of the Other in divided times, through the work of more than 30 artists. At its core, the exhibition considers how art can challenge fears of otherness and difference often sparked in periods of uncertainty or change. Rather than framing the outsider or stranger figure as a threat, it invites a shift towards empathy.

Opening in Coventry on 2 October 2026, the exhibition will tour to Swansea, Bristol, Sheffield and Newcastle Gateshead.
