Proud to announce my Design & Application of the SFX Make-upProsthetics in the serie #thebigfuckup on @willem_de_schryver @pearlarber

Full progress of creating the Make-up Prosthetics will be uploaded next week 👀

The most fun part about this whole journey was sculpting and molding the wounds from scratch and making enough Pros-aide transfers and silicone prosthetics for the episode 5-6-7. I also assisted in hair & makeup department HMD @leonie.gysel, almost every day for 3 months…

My first full serie experience as a SFX Makeup Artist. Non stop focussing on continuity, unspoken set rules that you learn along the way, long & early set days, cold night shoots and driving more then 2,5 hours a Day! AND being on time every single day 🤩 But I don’t complain or regret, because seeing those beautiful results on a big screen @streamz.be makes my heart full of happiness after Blood and Tears…Literally 🤣 It was worthy ⛓️I would do it all over again.

So much fun Glueing my Actors face in a YETI ❄️ Shoutout to the amazing collaboration with Costume Designer @sarahjosis and Director Benny Vandendriessche 🔥This was a crazy teamwork! Camera, production, actors, Styling, Decor, Light, Grip,… wow 🔥 I need more of those collabs! Thank you @labhise for a last minute help on set 🌟 The most fun thing was creating the snow beard and 🧊 Ice spikes with a builder UV gel for gel nails and prepping the prosthetic @saskiaverreycken by punching Separate Hairs in the Eyebrows Cheeks and afterward glueing hairs around the face and seeing the piece come alive.
