HOW WE MADE IT✩‧₊˚
Idea development ➞ artist outreach ➞co-ordination ➞ design ➞ story telling ➞ share it with the world
@networkarchives was born from the idea of creators sharing their work in their own words.
It grew into a 190-page compilation featuring 29 creative projects across disciplines, mediums, and geographies.
The process? So much planning, collaboration, and communication with talented music artists, while our designer pulled everything together beautifully. We worked really hard bringing these already amazing projects together into one cohesive digital place and excited for you all to dig in.
For musicians grappling with limitations of current models, or anyone rethinking creative work, this is for YOU.
A Directory of Inspiration is out now on @metalabel__ . Go link in bio and collect your copy and explore! ✩ˎˊ˗

We are ecstatic to share with our community that we have sold out the 100 first-edition limited copies of The Directory of Inspiration!
This isn’t just a number to us —100 people came together to support artists directly & believed in us.
No middlemen. No barriers. Just collective energy fueling creation. This is what happens when we build together.
Our first experiment with Network Archives is out in the world, and because of you, it’s more than an idea—it’s a movement. A step toward something bigger. The second edition is now available at a reduced rate, so if you haven’t yet, now’s your moment.
More to come this week, but for now, just this:
Thank you. For showing up, for believing, for making this real.
This is only the beginning
with love,
The Network Archives Label Team

We can be a movement and not even know, especially in a time where writers and documenters of process are struggling as much as us. Maybe we don’t want to give up autonomy and say we are a thing, or maybe we cannot see it. Sometimes it takes grouping, collecting or collective story telling, as It’s when we connect the dots we can see their importance and relevance both to the participants and the ecosystem.

Been a big week to see @networkarchives finally come together and honestly so proud of this so if you haven’t grabbed a zine go get one!
There’s so much I want to say about Network Archives 001: A Directory Of Inspiration not just because I’ve worked so hard on it, but because it symbolises so much of what I care about and have been inspired by over the last few years, and at the centre of it all is the creators. Their use of technology, the level of creativity, their work ethic, the co-ordination skills, the execution of ideas, they way they have built communities, developed an audience, told their stories, shared their process, their thoughts, their knowledge and continued to push the boundaries of their art, but also importantly to me; re-imaging what being a music artist even is.
The BTS of this project was essentially me with an idea but loads people contributing. A special thanks to @p3t3rango @blackdavemk2 @xcelencia @producedbydav who worked on the concept with me, and through our artist round table chat group were a constant source of support and knowledge.
This zine was made possible by Executive Producer @cxy , whose support funded the design and the time needed to bring it to life. Without that backing, and the work by Jade Garcia who as producer worked on this as tirelessly with me, Network Archives 001 wouldn’t exist. It was designed by Ana Carolina whose beautiful work and patience took the project to a new level.
Of course a huge thanks to every artist that contributed to their work and agreed to take part, the talent and the ideas in these pages 🤯
If you want to support independent artists Ina. Meaningful way then go to the link in bio and grab a zine it’s only $6.99 which is a steal and the first edition is a limited 100 edition run!

Funziona senza problemi su iOS, Android, Windows, macOS e browser moderni come Chrome e Safari.
Scarica foto (JPEG) e video (MP4) facilmente.
