This piece was made for @fiercefestival 2022 and co-commissioned by @batterseaartscentre and @kampnagel produced by @artsadm which is going on tour to both those venues in hamburg and london in may and june respectively this year.

We have a zine that goes with the piece funded by the @nnfest

This has had so many wonderful people working on it, (especially the long suffering @plotnek as access assistant) too many to tag and Im not even sure of their instagram handles but ESPECIALLY the producrtion team Joe French, Meg, @aa.lighting our Fierce artist liaison @laceymcfadyen and the wonderful space @7svn_digbeth that allowed us the first run.

This is a piece about trans-frogs and their relevance as zeitgeist figures of 21st century human subjectivity given the onset of a new dark age due to the neofedualism instilled after the 2008 financial crisis fundamentally skewed the inherant progression of the millennial subjectivity. It articulates the rise of the age of the anus through the queer crytpid aesthetic schema of primarily trans drag performance artists who pose system literate assembelages capable of staying with the trouble. The dramaturgy is done via the tentacular thinking advocated by Donna Harraway and uses the metric of spectacle, an inevitable of queer expression, to confront the integrated spectacle proposed by the situationists with something more mycellial in nature. Although the show is still defining itself for itself.
