Today @guardian publishes a beautiful article by @Marcojimdevidi about me and the journey of vocal rehabilitation I had to go through after my health struggles.
You can’t imagine the joy and emotion I felt reading it.
I shared something very intimate, which Marco was able to recount with great delicacy.
I thank him from the bottom of my heart, together with my speech therapist Chiara Pavese.
I also thank the other half of OVO, @brunodorella , for being by my side and supporting me, even during tours and in moments that were anything but easy.
I dedicate this article to all the fragile people who have had to go through periods of great difficulty.
Even in fragility, there is strength.

Liberamente ispirata al romanzo "Il signore delle mosche" di W. Golding, la creazione DILUVIO indaga il naufragio quale condizione di un presente segnato da profonde fratture e fragilità.
Attraverso un processo di riscrittura scenica che trasla la narrazione, il luogo e il tempo originali, il desiderio di salvezza dei giovani naufraghi si dissolve lasciando spazio a una nuova percezione del naufragio: non più fine ma varco per immaginare il futuro, slancio verso la costruzione di spazi di appartenenza e connessione.
In DILUVIO danza e musica sprigionano il loro potere lenitivo, lisergico e catartico, diventando territorio di liberazione dei corpi. Attraversando sonorità, immaginari ed estetiche delle controculture techno, trance e alternative rock, la scena si fa spazio fluido e immersivo, fino a trasformarsi in una discoteca al crepuscolo del mondo. Una pioggia ritmica di luci, suoni, corpi, voci e sudore: un vortice sensoriale nel quale tuffarsi per partecipare a un'esperienza rituale di trasformazione e festa collettiva.

È un'intervista che è andata molto nelle profondità del mio lavoro e della mia storia anche personale 🙏🏽❤️

"Stefania Alos Pedretti è un nome che riecheggia come un codice segreto nelle pieghe più radicali della musica italiana contemporanea. Artista e performer, voce e corpo sono per lei strumenti inscindibili, terreno di esplorazione e di tensione costante tra fragilità e forza. Il suo percorso attraversa decenni di sperimentazioni sonore, dai territori abrasivi e corrosivi degli OvO fino all’introspezione contemplativa di Alos, progetto solista dove la voce non è solo suono ma presenza, respiro e memoria del corpo.
Questa intervista nasce dal desiderio di capire non solo il suo lavoro musicale, ma la persona che si cela dietro ogni gesto e ogni nota."

The director @__animamundi means to delineate a “new humanity freed from original paradigma”.
According to him: “The video structures an emotional narrative centered on the search for connection, evoking a transformation necessary for the evolution of a human model now in collapse. The key concepts translated into video language arise from the suggestions of the track and from the full album, where the search for contact with the natural element is constant, alternating between more introspective passagess and noise explosions. The album artwork by @neroatto also plays a fundamental role, leading me to want to provide conceptual continuity between the various expressive forms in which ‘Gemma’ manifests itself, extending it”.

Alos porta a Montesole uno studio del progetto artistico RITUAL V, un dispositivo che esplora la vulnerabilità e la lentezza come strumenti radicali di resistenza e trasformazione, in un mondo dominato dalla forza, dalla velocità e dal consumo.

In questo nuovo capitolo della serie Ritual, l’opera prende vita come un’installazione site-specific e un’esperienza performativa, capace di attivare nello spettatore una riflessione profonda sul valore della vulnerabilità.RITUAL V in continua metamorfosi, che muta forma a seconda del contesto unico del luogo che lo ospita: in dialogo con la sua natura, la sua architettura, la sua storia. È proprio da questo incontro che nasce un’esperienza sensoriale, che invita il pubblico a confrontarsi con la tensione tra resistenza e rottura, tra ciò che si rivela e ciò che resta invisibile.

Ritual V è un invito a riscrivere la fragilità, riconoscendola come una forza rigenerativa, poetica e rivoluzionaria. Un rituale contemporaneo che si muove tra il visibile e l’invisibile, trasformando la fragilità in potere e connessione.

CHEAP e Sex & the City, con la collaborazione del Poggiolo Rifugio Resistente e della Scuola di Pace di Montesole, organizzano un momento di incontro nel Parco Storico di Montesole, un luogo attraversato dalla Resistenza e segnato da un eccidio nazista, dove la memoria non è mai neutra e continua a interrogarci.

Dalla sera del 20 marzo, gli spazi a Montesole del Poggiolo – Rifugio Resistente e della Scuola di Pace ospiteranno momenti di attivazione della memoria del luogo, dispositivi di immaginazione radicale e cura collettiva, reading e performance, spazi di socialità.
