As a multi-disciplinary artist who likes to explore in all directions, Sarah Gamrani has always thrived on a form of duality, which she accepts today by abandoning her former pseudonym of Hawa Sarita to become sa+ga. A way for her to claim the right to accumulate artistic practices: singing as one half of the Pureblast duo, mixing with DJ sets at Macadam (Nantes) and Machine du Moulin Rouge (Paris), and writing with Au-delà du club, a poetic and collaborative research collective centered around nightlife.
Whatever form they take, each of sa+ga’s projects aims to convey values and generate positive energy. Because she is convinced that this is what it takes to create dialogue within the electronic scene and reinvent the night in the most emancipatory and festive way.

As someone who grew up in different places and cultures, we already witnessed her adaptivity behind the decks and we can’t wait to continue our journey together for our next gathering at C11.
