🪡 On Saturday 6th June, find your way to the African Arts Centre for Glasgow Outernational. A day to night fundraising party that’ll weave together live music, performance, games, installation, djs, food, art and plenty more into a new space that’s waiting to be explored 🌐

🫧 Come and go as you wish, but you’re encouraged to arrive early and stay late to soak up this spectrum of homegrown weirdo goodness and fun. £10 minimum donation entry tickets are live now, and soon the details of who’s doing what in this beautiful, sprawling space will be revealed to those who’ve secured their spot 𖦹

Glasgow Outernational is a new celebration of the fringes - for the people and spaces who operate outside of the city’s mainstream🫂

Without a home for more than 6 years, we have the pleasure of welcoming yous to the monumental opening of the new African Arts Centre! We’re feeling honoured to celebrate the return of a space that has been central to so many of our experiences of Glasgow.

Healthy, Polyterror, Ghost Art School and assorted others are bringing their heads together to cook up a full day and night of performance, music, installation, weirdness and joy on the first Saturday of June. No external funders here, just a whole lot of community love.

We’ll be uniting friends, foes, lovers and loners across disciplines for our very own hyper-local one-day show of culture in Glasgow - inaugurating the African Arts Centre’s huge new location and raising money to secure their future.

Tickets are available via the link in bio, with a minimum donation of £10 going directly to support the African Arts Centre. Find us there from 3pm til late on Saturday 6th June - full location and lineup details to be revealed in due course...

⟡ We’ve gathered our thoughts and our friends into this Keepsake: a collection of writing and shared conversation. Reflecting primarily on music and the scene that introduced us to each other, Keepsake is a collaborative pamphlet home to musings on nightlife, identity, pleasure and more.

✦ To celebrate its launch in physical form, we’ve curated an evening of words and music from its contributors with readings, live performances, and DJ sets.

⟡ Come and be a part of a little piece of the city - copies of the pamphlet will be available to buy that evening, or can be pre-purchased with your ticket.
