CSUN film

Hey everybody! I’m officially in pre-production for my new short film, CIRCA 1919: A Murder Mystery. A film set on the production of the first Western epic, following a story-hungry journalist who gets her break when a “prop gun” kills an actor, sparking a bizarre whodunnit among the crew.
This is a project I’ve been developing for years, and it’s finally within reach, with your support.
In the past, my films were made on little to no budget, which meant sacrificing pieces of the vision. I’m proud of every project we have accomplished, but for this film, I want to make it as it was meant to be seen because it is truly the most ambitious, unique, and epic film myself and collaborators have attempted.
We’ve just launched our Indiegogo campaign to help bring CIRCA 1919: A Murder Mystery to life. Any support whether it’s a donation of any size or simply sharing the campaign would truly mean a lot. There are also super awesome perks such as posters, signed scripts, and more, attached to the different donation amounts!
The donation link, and more info are linked in my bio and in my Instagram story. Thank you all for helping us make this film the way it deserves to be made!

I had the amazing opportunity to record the world’s 5th largest church organ and a 6-singer choir at Christ Cathedral (Crystal Cathedral) earlier in April for the score of Dead Man’s Hand, a nearly 40-minute Great Depression era mob drama by @houstonsasselli and @connermcfall!
Big thanks to @houstonsasselli for bringing me on this project and it was a fun time working with you both!
This collaboration started off back in 2023 during pre-production. Since then, we’ve developed and refined the score on and off. After getting the final cut last fall, we finished the score and recorded elements like solo cello with @qblache, opera vocals with @blake.stv, and string orchestra with @budapestscoring before this session.
After 3 months of coordinating with a team of incredible people, it was a surreal moment to arrive at the cathedral ready to record. Being enveloped by the sound of the organ and choir in such a beautiful space was a magical culmination of this nearly 2-year scoring journey!
Thanks so much to @davidballorgan, the Christ Cathedral Organist and Head of Music Ministry, for your support and for making this possible and to @laurenmccaulsoprano for helping contract the choir! Big shoutout as well to @mixerchristiannn for beautifully recording the organ and choir and to @josephfmohan for helping me test out the organ music at your church by playing it and giving me feedback!
The film is out now on YouTube - you can check it out with the link in my bio!
Featuring!:
Recording Engineer: @mixerchristiannn
Church Organist: @teag24_organmusic
Choir: Holly Roehl, @erigbyjones, Alyssa Cavero, Dan Babcock, @itisnotstephen, & Michael Turnblom
Stills from footage by @brandontran0 & @brandonlien_!

My two year long project is finally coming to your iPhone screen. Words can’t even describe what this project has meant to me and what the process has done for me as a filmmaker and as a human being. Someday I will explain all the insane things that went on “behind the scenes” but for now, just trust me when I say this but there is no reason this 50 minute, $0 budget, masterful mess should be a a finished product. I love it, and I’m proud of it. I couldn’t have done a single thing without this cast and crew… nobody received a penny for working on this film, it was straight creative ambition and a love for filmmaking. Every member of this cast and crew saved this film at one point or another. After our first night of shooting, I called Houston crying because I was embarrassed about how the production began, he motivated me and quite literally saved this film from falling through. Aaron agreed to join the film on a few hours notice, and never looked at the script until 30 minutes before his scene. Tommy… Tommy saved this film like 20 times. Morale of the story, this team was incredible. I am forever thankful, and indebted to each of you (cast and crew members).
Now… I think it’d be pretty classless not to mention the inspiration behind this all, Kurt. Kurt Cobain stood out to me since I was young. He was cool, he had long hair, extremely fashionable, and he was a rockstar, everything a young boy wanted to be. He was the inspiration of generations, and his legacy has carried to this day. That’s why I felt comfortable telling this story and telling it now. Kurt is not really dead. His legacy is EVERYWHERE and I truly think he’d get a little smile out of the film.
I hope you give it a chance and enjoy it. I’m so excited to share with you all what I have been doing for 2 years now. Thank you all.

Anonstories oferuje doskonałe rozwiązanie do ukrywania swojej tożsamości.
