6 Şubatdepremlerinin ardından ailesiyle birlikte konteyner kente yerleşen Zaina*(7), yakın zamanda Adıyaman şehir merkezine taşındı. Bu geçiş sürecinde, kardeşleriyle birlikte eğitime düzenli ve güvenli şekilde devam edebilmesi için ailesinin desteğe ihtiyacı vardı.

Avrupa Birliği’nin (@eu_echo) finansal desteği ve @pikolodernegi iş birliğiyle yürüttüğümüz proje kapsamında, Zaina ve kardeşlerinin eğitime erişimini güçlendirdik. Okul kayıt süreçlerine destek sağladık, ailesini bilgilendirdik ve nakit eğitim desteği ile çocukların okula devamını destekledik.

Akran zorbalığı durumlarında ise bakım verenlere danışmanlık sağlayarak okul yönetimleriyle süreci yakından takip ettik.

Zaina okula gitmeyi çok seviyor ve büyüyünce öğretmen olmak istiyor. Yeni okul malzemeleri ve kıyafetleri, kendini daha mutlu ve motive hissetmesini sağlıyor.

Her çocuk güvenli ve kapsayıcı bir öğrenme ortamını hak eder. 🌿

After the earthquakes of February 6th, Zaina* (7) and her family moved to a container settlement and have recently relocated to Adıyaman city centre. During this period of transition, her family required support to help Zaina and her siblings continue their education in a safe and consistent way.

With the financial support of the European Union (@eu_echo) and in partnership with @pikolodernegi, we strengthened Zaina and her siblings’ access to education. We supported school enrolment, informed families, and provided cash assistance to help children stay in school.

In cases of peer bullying, our team guided caregivers on how to communicate with schools and worked directly with school management to follow up on the process.

Zaina loves going to school and dreams of becoming a teacher. School supplies, uniforms, and new clothes help her feel happier and more motivated.

Every child has the right to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. 🌿

With the financial support of the European Union (@eu_echo) and in partnership with @pikolodernegi, we strengthened Zaina and her siblings’ access to education. We supported school enrolment, informed families, and provided cash assistance to help children stay in school.

In cases of peer bullying, our team guided caregivers on how to communicate with schools and worked directly with school management to follow up on the process.

Zaina loves going to school and dreams of becoming a teacher. School supplies, uniforms, and new clothes help her feel happier and more motivated.

For her, children’s education is essential: “As long as I'm able, I want my children to continue their education.” Leyla shares that she loves reading and writing and wishes to have more notebooks.

We continue working towards a future where children can access their fundamental rights and families can live with greater stability.
