The concept drew from these natural surroundings and the etymological roots of 'Otso' steeped in symbolism and mythology denoting 'bear' in Scandinavia.

After a career in teaching, Billy Haigh took a leap of faith and joined our MA Cinematography course in Leeds. One year later, he’s graduated with distinction, picked up multiple film festival awards, and is now mentoring the next wave of talent as a lecturer at MetFilm School.

His debut short Kidda is a love letter to teaching, northern storytelling, and the power of imagination. 📽️

"They took me to a place called Shatford.. like Bradford, just shitter". This show was an intergalactic adventure not only for starry-eyed Lenny and Mullet but also for all of us working on a BBC commissioned TV show set in Yorkshire ..and outta space.

I was over the moon to have been part of the lighting team alongside some talented stars. And 100 light years worth of thanks to celestial beings @jordonscottkennedy and @caseybshaw for having me as part of their out-of-this-world cast + crew 💥
