Massively grateful to everyone who’s supported me along the way. It’s a list n’ half, and knowing me I’d forget someone like a divvy - so this is just a big thank you to everyone who’s shown me love, even if it was just taking the time to watch my films 🖤
2025 was a special one. Rocket Fuel changed my life. First TV commission. Bought a house. Left the country 8 times. Signed with Independent. Won an award at Leeds International Film Festival. Founded the Five Minute Film Festival. And the biggest of all… Oasis FINALLY got back together 😎
It’s daft to think that only 3 years ago I was jobless. On Universal Credit. Still living in a shared house. And I hadn’t left the country in 15 years. It’s a good job I’m deluded, innit? 🤣
Big things in the pipeline for 2026. Mad excited 🤞🏼
Here’s a picture of me finally getting to see Chaplin Studios in LA. A dream of mine since making my film about him at film school when I was a bairn.

We made this film on a shoestring, grafted like bastards, and told a story that felt true to where we’re from. Having BUFF back it - and back us - was massive, because BUFF is one of the few festivals in the country that genuinely champions working-class voices and stories that come from real places.

Blood’s Thicker 2 is a wrap 🔥
Working with youth groups across Bradford is always special to me.
Back in 2023, I premiered my first play Blood’s Thicker with @kerry.wright_, @charleshumphreys.actor, @caseybshaw, @idleworkfactoryand @theunit.bradford to commemorate @alfiebradleyart’s Knife Angel coming to Bradford. The response was unreal - it led to real knife hand-ins, and Bradford Council called it one of the most successful projects they’ve seen for engaging young people.
Once again we worked across five districts in Bradford and Keighley - where we screened the film adaptation of my original play Blood’s Thicker alongside the premiere of the brand-new sequel - written, directed by and starring the brilliant @rossi_t_ and featuring @charleshumphreys.actor l, @feebssmith_, @torban_h_hunter_actor, @__archie__clark_, @paulwillyfox and @jaedepz.
