Craig then looked up more about Kleinfeld, where they were, what a great job they do, and what events were being hosted. He learned that Randy had a trunk show at Kleinfeld during an upcoming weekend and secretly cross-checked it with my call schedule: I was free!
He then reached out to my mother, who had never heard of the show, the store, or Randy Fenoli. But she did her research quickly and learned everything there was to know about Kleinfeld. She felt very strongly, “Signe has to get her dress here.” Within hours of first talking to Craig about this being a remote possibility, she had booked me an appointment.
A few days before departure, I learned that Craig had arranged for this weekend, my mother booked a VIP appointment, there was the opportunity to meet Randy, and she and I would also be joined by my dad (my personal stylist) and two of my best friends.
