Today, I turned 26. Music has always brought me new emotions, thoughts, and experiences. While I enjoy and appreciate all genres of music, I especially love dance music because it empowers people and creates unforgettable moments. That’s why I’m happy to share this music video with you as I enter a new chapter of my life.

With the music video for “ROYALT¥” I wanted to express my emotions as a Korean and Asian artist. I believe that life as an Asian can often feel suppressed. But dance music helps us forget that weight and allows us to express our true selves. Through a dancer wearing a traditional Korean mask, I wanted to portray myself breaking free from that suppressed identity through movement.

Recently, I’ve traveled to various Asian countries and connected with many artists around my age. Even though we come from different cultural backgrounds, I realized that we share similar thoughts, tastes, and dreams. I saw that they too are raising their voices and fighting for the lives they want to live.
To me, people who face each day with courage and strive to achieve their greatest goals are the royalty of our modern age. Because in the end, they will get to where they want to be.
