@5.string.theory is the brainchild of experimental violinist and composer Alexey Kochetkov, who creates genre-bending music with five-string violins and electronics. He showcases virtuosity and artistry across a range of formats, from innovative neo-classical concerts and multidisciplinary performances to atmospheric live-sets and acoustic violin acts. 5 String Theory aims to unite the instrument’s centuries-long tradition with modern technology and contemporary sonic aesthetics, crafting the violin music of tomorrow. Doors open at 20:00, the concert starts at 22:00, and afterwards DJ @tobi.starke rounds out the night.

Terry Riley – IN C (Feb 27 at @hamburger_bahnhof, Berlin)
We brought Terry Riley’s iconic IN C to the stage with an incredible group of Berlin musicians.
I joined as Voice / Movement, letting the body ride the shifting pulses and layered patterns of the ensemble.
Nearly 1,000 people filled the former train station, listening in deep focus as the space slowly transformed into a vibrating field of minimal sound.
The evening also featured James Tenney’s “Having never written a note for percussion”, performed by Jürgen Grözinger — a meditation on resonance, duration, and expanded listening.
