dear, two thousand twenty five

i swear to God the construct of time has moved so much faster. it felt just like yesterday that it was december 31st, 2024. i know we’re supposed to eat twelve grapes under the table to “find love,” but the love i truly found and manifested this year came back around to the young reinhardt that started it all. i walked into this year with one intention: radical gratitude

gratitude for…..

for all the times i’ve felt on top of the world

for all the times nothing went right

for all the times i get to put on a look my inner child would’ve died to wear

for all the shoots i get to… truly visualize my dreams

for all the laughter and the tears

for the projects that happened and, well… didn’t happen

for fml 🥹

and for art, for friendship, for love, for kindness, for abundance. for fearless, transformative, intentional, phenomenal nights.

i spent this year focusing on the little in between, the red eye flights and the back of the uber nights, yearning not for more, but for that radical gratitude.

i may not know a lot of languages, but what i do want to say this year is

thank you

to all of you

to my incredible collaborators, team members who believed in me..

to all the opportunities

to all who let my inner child run free

i’m so grateful.

I do not see art and academia as incompatible and I do not rely on either alone. My aesthetic is focused on each exhibition, its purpose, context, artists, environment and countless other factors. A sculptor of horror, identity, and style, Wong does not simply tell stories. She unlocks the dark, hidden corridors of the self. In this editorial, she steps beyond her usual role behind the camera and inhabits a glamorous reimagining of Bloody Mary.
