“There’s some things you keep, his @benjart puffer jacket is one of them” 🧥

When people ask me what my favourite shoot I’ve worked on is, this one will definitely be talked about.

A couple weeks back I posted a fashion campaign video on my story asking which brands would like to shoot something similar and next thing you know@mr_benjam1n popped up and was fully on board.

We went back and forth on the phone trying to get a loose theme to follow but I just knew I wanted a conversational set up, where we focus on the acting/performance of the character whilst subtly marketing @benjart ‘s product.

Eventually it clicked! I knew I’m going to centre this film around an unhinged ex girlfriend who happens to be a serial jacket thief!😂
To create the character I literally sat in my room speaking to myself and making female-like gestures as i would imagine this character to. Like a rapper/singer would, I was mumbling and just spouting out different phrases, whatever sounded good I wrote down. Until it came to fleshing it out fully as a script.Funny thing is as well, I wrote this with @hemah_k ALREADY in mind, she’s an online sensation that I’ve always found hilarious and super talented so being able to work with her on this was amazing🫶🏾

Those who know know how excited I was about the script and overall idea, I was going round the house reading it to my Mum, my brother, on the phone to my sister and my friends😂 & of course no one’s quite gonna envision it how you do in your crazy little creative mind but I just knew this was IT.
