For Burning Man 2025, my contribution was as an additional camera operator for the @bmwebcast Man Burn livestream, along with donating wireless video equipment to capture a more intimate yet anonymous perspective for those unable to attend.

For the Temple Burn, we pull back the livestream for a more distant approach to honor the solemn mood. This gave me a moment to test out capturing infrared footage of the Temple Burn. I believed it fitting because it isolates the burn from the typical assortment of lasers, LED totem poles, and flashing art cars. It only captures the fire and shadows.

@steelydanpaddock is the best for letting me run away with his film camera and stalk these Ospreys for an hour or two.

This pair, a juvenile and parent, were our indifferent neighbors during a recent camping trip.Over the course of 48 hours we witnessed the youngster learn to fly, followed by embarking on increasingly longer flights.

Last week I had the chance to volunteer on a super special project. @gkwedar and @clintbentley came by San Quentin to host a filmmaking workshop for a group of inmates aspiring to work in film after serving their time. This industry is special in such that your personal history and education won’t be held against you. It’s your skills, ability to learn, and personality when collaborating with others that matter. Not only were resources for giving inmates a second chance like @manifestworks_ shared, but they were also given the opportunity to work with celluloid.

Special shoutouts to Amy Vincent ASC for mentoring the group and for Ari Davidson at Kodak for not only driving up all the gear donated by @panavisionofficial, but for also being my Loader and 2nd AC.

There’s never a dull moment working with DP @jpausanos. On this recent commercial spot we had to quickly bounce back and forth between 3 builds: Studio, Easyrig, and this micro battery belt setup.

I ran around the woods for the 2nd unit psychedelic scenes as the @cinefade tech and 1st AC. Despite being able to DIY depth of field pulls, I would always prefer the cinefade. It’s much much faster to use, especially when you need to make adjustments on the fly.
