Several events over the past week and a half.Starting with judging @fitnyc ‘Future of Fashion’ show entries from the very talented students graduating shortly. Including a special judging with @49andrewyu to select 2 students winning a 3 week trip to Shanghai in June to work and learn in his Chantex factory.Then on to the Armory on Park Ave to see the fabulous Photography Exhibition thanks to @picturesbybilly and great to see my Citadel Security family @tycsanyc and David Yorio. Then a quick walk to support @madisonavebid and @92ndstreety@Nardos and watch her drape a mannequin in few minutes. Next day a delicious breakfast and informative presentation of the new collection by @eileenfisherny @1hotel.centralpark . Anyone familiar with the fashion industry likely knows the name Fern Mallis. Dubbed as the godmother of fashion, she is most well known as being the creator of New York Fashion Week. This year, she is being inducted into the Kent State University School of Fashion Hall of Fame. We chatted with Fern and asked her for advice for anyone looking to get into the fashion industry.
