In celebration of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” opening today, we’re throwing it back to last week—when six FIT Fashion Design students scored seats at Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM “Front Row” interview with the cast (yes, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci). Thanks for joining us, President Schupbach!
To set the stage, @SiriusXM recreated the fictional “Runway Magazine” office using the stellar designs of these six outstanding FIT students:
Alliyah Sternin (@liyahsintern)
Seunggu Kim (@shishangkid)
Wayne Tawaisab (@waynetawaisab)
Jose Martinez (@liljozeebob)
Eden Meidl (@edenmeidl)
Jayda Meloni (@jayda.angelica)
Thank you, Andy! We had a blast.

From the petri dish to the runway, @Columbia is leading innovation in the fashion and textile space with its PRISM platform, which has been awarded an $11.5 million grant from the @bezosearthfund.
The PRISM platform, co-developed by Helen Lu, the Percy K. and Vida L.W. Professor of Biomedical Engineering and professor of dental and craniofacial engineering, and Theanne Schiros, professor of materials science and project lead at SUNY’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), is a 5-year research program to develop a high-quality textile fiber grown by bacteria fed on agricultural waste. The PRISM program is one of the latest efforts of Gotham Foundry, a sustainable materials innovation hub launched in 2025 with support from the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYC EDC).
The resulting fiber would require no land use and produce no microplastic pollution, a major step forward for the textile industry, which is a leading global contributor to climate change, water use, waste, and pollution. At Columbia, the PRISM team also includes Professors Marianna Maiaru, Mary Boyce, and Harris Wang. Congrats to all!

Where every body at the museum hangs out ✨
The mannequin storage room at @museumatfit houses mannequins from several decades. Some are based on real people, such as Twiggy or Cher. Others mimic what the body looks like with a corset on. All help to tell the curatorial narrative of an exhibition in their own way. “The body plays as much of a part in your interpretation and understanding of the fashion as the clothing does itself,” conservator @callie_oc explains.
Learn more about the mannequins and dress forms held in the storage room, and how they represent the “fashionable body” of their time, at the link in bio.

It’s the final chance to get your last look at the incredible “Harmonic Threads” exhibition, organized by the Fashion Design AAS Exhibition Committee with film collaborators from Film and Media and Hue magazine.
“Harmonic Threads” explores that emotional language, translating sound into silhouette, texture, color, and movement. @fit_artdesign
We caught up with Dr. Elizabeth Way (@elizaruw), the curator behind the latest @MuseumatFIT exhibition, “Art X Fashion,” to unpack the ideas and curatorial lens behind the exhibition, and to ask a simple question: Is fashion art?
Spanning centuries of work, the exhibition traces how fashion and art have long existed in dialogue, continuing to shape, challenge, and inspire one another, and what that relationship offers to the next generation of creatives.
See the exhibition “Art X Fashion,” open now through April 19.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
