These past few days I have been here at the @nationaltrust Sycamore Gap recording the trunk of the globally recognised Sycamore tree which was cut down in an act beyond vandalism two years ago this coming Sunday.

The tree is very much alive and the music the tree has created these past few days is simply stunning. I have heard people share stories of how the tree was part of their lives in times of joy, pain, love, loss, relationships and more. It has been an unbelievable privilege to just be here listening to people share their lives with me. This is such a special place.

It is still early days of the project but the first steps have been taken!
