Upcoming | Martin Parr: A Fair Day
6 February - 19 April 2026
Martin Parr (1952 - 2025, UK) was a close friend and supporter of The Photographers’ Gallery. We were working together throughout 2025 on plans to show A Fair Day here. In keeping with his wishes, this upcoming exhibition will showcase Parr’s early-career work in Ireland while honouring his long association with the Gallery. A Fair Day: Photographs from the West of Ireland presents black-and-white photographs made in rural Ireland in the early 1980s.
A Fair Day was Parr’s last major project in black and white. He felt the work had not been shown as widely as his later projects and believed it spoke to contemporary debates around community, social change, and the collision of tradition and modernity.
We are pleased to continue working with the Martin Parr Foundation, and with Rocket Gallery, London (who represent the Estate of Martin Parr) to honour Martin's legacy and celebrate his impact on British photography.
To find out more and preview the exhibited works, head to tpg.org.uk/fair-day (linked in @tpgprintsales' bio)
Get in touch for further details 👉 printsales@tpg.org.uk
All proceeds from print sales support The Photographers' Gallery's education and public programmes.

MARTIN PARR 1952-2025
In 1996 I picked up the telephone to Martin Parr and introduced myself as a gallerist and publisher, after my wife Lottie Hoare introduced me to his photographs. I invited Martin to collaborate on an artist’s book based on the Dorset seaside town of West Bay and a year later we published the landmark book with 30 new photographs accompanied by contemporary poetry.
The exhibition in 1997, at Rocket of the West Bay photographs, was Martin’s very first commercial gallery exhibition in London. This commenced the representation of Martin Parr by Rocket Gallery.
We went on to collaborate on 13 solo exhibitions at Rocket. To publish five books together. To collaborate with commercial galleries in Los Angeles, Chicago, Melbourne, Naples, Knokke, Amsterdam and Madrid. To exhibit his work at countless art fairs around the world.
Martin and his photographs have been a huge part of my life for 29 years. This has been creatively inspiring and a great privilege. Thank you Martin, for the confidence you had in Rocket and for your support.
Aside from the excitement of seeing new photographs every week, I’m going to miss chuckling with you and discussing politics. I’ve lost a true friend.
My thoughts are with Susie and Ellen. As well as with Jenni, Charlotte and the whole MP Studio team.

Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
