Lands End

A Journey of Friendship: Follow professional skateboarder Barney Page as he pushes the length of the British Isles on his skateboard in memory of his friend Ben Raemers. With many unexpected turns along the way, Barney’s 900+ mile adventure quickly becomes the catalyst for Ben’s life story to unravel. Through heartfelt conversations from those closest to Ben, they open up about the loss of such a beautifully contagious soul and how his passing rippled across the world, impacting skateboarding forever. “Lands End” seeks to breathe life into the conversation of suicide and discusses how we can turn the corner on Mental Health.

Another journey with @BarneyPage for the books. In 2024 we spent a month navigating the Welsh and English canals covering 275 miles, 272 locks, a 200+ year old Aqueduct, a couple 45 minute tunnels, all while cruising at 2-3mph. Of course neither of us had any experience driving a boat, and what could be better than to learn on a 55 foot narrow boat. After we arrived into London Barney spent a year converting it into his home on the water. This evening (March 12th) @RVCA_Europe will be screening a preview of our film #HumbleAbode “A Life on the Canal” at @PetshopSkateboards in Barcelona. In 2019 & 2020 I spent several months traveling around New Zealand working on a personal project with @CraigSteves | The idea was to show what life is like for an aging professional athlete that now has a full time job, a family of his own, dealing with injuries, maintaining global sponsors, is a volunteer firefighter, and still has an unwavering passion for bikes. After spending 2 years working on the project (including making the music) we released “Compass”.

Only 4 months after releasing the film, Craig’s new hometown of Muriwai was struck with a terrible cyclone, and while he was out with the fire service evacuating homes he was swept up in a landslide. The next day he was rescued and taken to the hospital, but sadly a few days later passed away.

I’m happy we were able to complete the project he always wanted to create. Very thankful to have had the opportunity to be invited into his life, capture his last part and share his story. Miss you mate.
