It wasn't easy breaking through as an introverted child that wishes to pursue dance, dance education and eventually dance as a career.

Many came knocking telling us that I will fail. But this is another story to share....

It all started with a dinner out with Mom, where I tried to explain that this is part of my artistic journey.

Since 2022, Mom and Dad have seen me transform at home, but they never quite understood who Secret Melur is. One day, I gathered the courage to buy them tickets and asked them to come watch the show. They didn’t know what kind of show it was. I only told them that it would mean a lot to me if they were there.

When I got home, Mom said, “We enjoyed the show, and Dad was laughing so much.” My heart sank.

My philosophy as an artist is simple: as long as Mom and Dad support my growth, nothing else truly matters.

Love you Mommy and Daddy. 🤍
