Well friends, here is your proof that I’m not just blowing smoke about this reimagined 90s project. One of the criteria for the song selection was which lyric still holds up today. This song felt especially poignant ❤️

I couldn’t imagine not calling my dear brother Tommy Sims, who was so gracious to come and share his enormous talent with us on this song.

Mannn...😥 Mr. Jerry Kennedy is a giant and a king. An Evergreen. This is a tremendous loss. Sitting firmly (but uncomfortably if you knew him) at the top of his craft and the music biz food chain he made room for strays and nobodys like me when I was just a kid in my earliest days of Nashville.
