2025 has been the maddest year of my life - I’ve been lucky enough to play in 14 different countries, and to travel the world through music which is something I never thought would be possible!

Thanks to everyone who has booked me, come to see me play, bought my releases or listened to my music this year, it really means a lot.

The support on @taipantraxuk has also been incredible, and throwing the first Taipan event has definitely been one of the highlights! As has releasing my first ever solo vinyl EP on @gimmeabreakrecords earlier this year 🤝

This one always causes scenes on the dance floor and it’s the exact style and atmosphere of trance that I love - wonky, psy-infused cyberpunk. The whole rest of the album is incredible and worth checking out!”

London-based producer Phasmid has garnered a fierce reputation for his hard-hitting productions and DJ sets

His sound combines forward thinking, leftfield sound design with bass-driven impact, drawing inspiration from classic progressive house and trance and fusing it with more contemporary bass and breaks

His label Taipan Trax pushes the darker side of UK bass, featuring releases from producers based all over the globe

Having recently returned from several international tours, Phasmid has just announced his debut album - Dark Forest Theory - which is dropping May 1st on Taipan Trax

“I’ve always really loved the sounds of early 2000s Nu-Skool breaks. This track is proper stripped back and impactful, but also incorporates some of the dark, wobbly acid sounds that I always gravitate towards in my productions.”

“This one is a bit of a set staple for me. For a 90s release, the sound design in here is absolutely insane. This one always causes scenes on the dance floor and it’s the exact style and atmosphere of trance that I love - wonky, psy-infused cyberpunk.
