Very excited to announce submorph's first release

Carrier is the debut release by @__straye , alias Kevin Ruiz, a producer and DJ based
in sunny Los Angeles, California. It’s a trance-inducing trip through high-octane techno and half-time bass music, set off with rhizomatic drums and a darkly
gleaming coat of prismatic sound design.
It sounds like the future, but it’s built for right now—where lines between are dissolving steadily, where hybridization is the crucial marker of potency.

Straye goes full-time half-time right from the go—
“Ritual” is the record’s headiest track, a swirling trek through deepest space. “Close Encounters” keeps the pace, clocking down into fractalized bass-wobble banger territory. “Shapeshift” picks up the tempo for a rollicking techno scorcher complete with clattering hand drums. Afterward, “Carrier” opens the throttle to the max: a rubbery, arpeggiated bassline pulses insistently while interlocking percussion propels forward at 170 beats per minute. To close, @djkms1999 hones in on the hand drums of “Shapeshift” for their
aptly titled “Tribal Tool” remix—this one’s got warm deep house flair.

Information is excited to present its first bi-coastal lineup of deep psychedelic techno and trance, kicking off the first half in Los Angeles, with two US Debuts : @kop32music and @tadasmajeris

K.O.P. 32 / Pyramid of Knowledge is a Paris-rooted, Seoul-based artist exploring the edge of techno, trance, and psychedelia. With releases on Annulled, Mana Abundance, Seismic, and his own label @beyondthebridgemusic , he’s honed a lean, propulsive, deeply intense sound. He’ll perform a new 1.5-hour live set.

Tadan is a leading force in Lithuania’s new techno/trance wave. A DJ and producer who’s played Berghain and major European clubs and festivals, he delivers energetic, rhythm-driven sets that stay deep and hypnotic across styles. He also founded @_area127_ , a label-turned party series and art platform championing progressive collaborations in electronic music and art.

LA Producer, DJ, and close friend of the label @__straye brings his deep driving sound which is captured in his latest EP release: “Carrier” on his own label @sub.morph

Kicking off the night is LA’s very own @agraybe who’s ability to navigate through grooves and dark soundscapes is sure to start your journey off the right way.
