She’s stopped doing both and stuck to a Bi- weekly routine where she is washing and treating her hair, staying away from styles that manipulate excessively, and Trusting the process with her stylist 🤗
We trimmed gradually, as her black relaxed hair grew out!

It’s NOT meant to be elongated, or go through constant tension allll the time

Give the wash & go, twist out, braid out, single twists, flexi rod set, Bantu knots, the list goes on 😅 A TRY! Your hair will thank you
Not saying she can’t press her hair but gray hair can be more fragile therefore having to treat it as such. Or if you feel your hair is not in a healthy state from using excessive heat, leaving your hair pressed for longer than 2-3 wks at a time, or breaking / shedding, give thoses hair follicles and strands a break by doing more tension free hair styles
