Integrating the show visuals into the Thom Yorke concert film was a lot of fun. Initially we thought the show would be a lot more stripped back so when we discovered that the screens would play such a big role in the show it opened up a lot of possibilities.
Thom’s Creative director @deadskinboy, Lighting Designer @pryderibaskerville, Video Director Ellie Clement and Video Technician @dan.english.lights_video created some incredible looks for the different tracks in the show, often tied to live on-stage video feeds. This meant the screen visuals reacted to Thom’s performance in real-time and were different every night.
By capturing this screen content for the edit and extending the visuals beyond the stage, the hope is that the concert film can be both an extension of the live experience, and also be immersive in its own way.

Integrating the show visuals into the Thom Yorke concert film was a lot of fun. Initially we thought the show would be a lot more stripped back so when we discovered that the screens would play such a big role in the show it opened up a lot of possibilities.
Thom’s Creative director @deadskinboy, Lighting Designer @pryderibaskerville, Video Director Ellie Clement and Video Technician @dan.english.lights_video created some incredible looks for the different tracks in the show, often tied to live on-stage video feeds. This meant the screen visuals reacted to Thom’s performance in real-time and were different every night.
