Safari Party Rallye! 🎥🚗

Nothing beats filming motorsports. The adrenaline, roaring engines, and the incredible people behind the wheel and the lenses. Utah threw all the seasons at us in one weekend, but this rally was an absolute blast!

Massive thanks to @merakisam & @brett.blackwell for always being down to hit the road with me to film and to @venuslaowa for sending over their new full-frame Ranger Zooms; these lenses truly immersed us in the action.

Packed way too much gear (as always): @sonycine Venice, FX6, FX3, Flowcine Black Arm, even some drones. But hey, it paid off!

From insane cars to even crazier talent behind them, this rally was one for the books. Can’t wait for the next one! 🏁

Hollywood 16 stairs rail.
Mei did board slide on the fourth attempts.

Mei is 11 years old Girl Skater from Gifu, Japan. She became the youngest girl skater to do board slide Hollywood Highschool 16 stairs rail in the history on June 30th, 2024. Also she is the fourth girl to try the rail after @rooszwettie @rayssalealsk8 and @funa_nakayama. They are the skaters that Mei looks up to, and she is dreaming to skate with them one day.

After first try, she injured her left foot and could not put weight on it, so she was using her heel to board slide. Nonetheless of the pain, she continued to try and landed on the fourth attempts.

6月30日(日曜日)の朝9時にハリウッド高校の16段の階段にあるレールでボードスライドをやりました。
史上最年少女子スケーターでの挑戦でした。
過去に3名女子スケーター @rooszwettie @rayssalealsk8 @funa_nakayama がここで滑っています。そしてMeiが4人目に挑戦した女子スケーターになりました。

1回目の挑戦で足の親指を着地の時に強く打ち、親指が痛くて力が入らなかったので踵を使ってボードスライドをしたそうです。足を引き摺りながら階段を登っていく姿は逞しく、4回目で成功した時はとても嬉しそうでした。
